Relieving Your Pain, Easing Your Fears
With Tooth Extractions
We get it. The idea of having a tooth removed is nobody’s idea of a good time, and for many, it’s a source of real anxiety. We want to be very clear: extracting a tooth is always our last resort. Sometimes, however, an extraction is the necessary step to relieve your pain, stop an infection, and protect your long-term oral health. If that’s the case, Dr. Robinson is here to make the experience as comfortable, gentle, and judgment-free as possible.

When Is Tooth Extraction Necessary?
Dr. Robinson will only recommend an extraction if a tooth is too damaged to be saved. Some of the Common reasons we’ll recommend extraction are if you have:
- Severe decay or deep cracks that are compromising the structure of your tooth.
- Advanced gum disease that has loosened a tooth beyond function.
- A serious infection or abscess that a root canal can’t resolve.
- Experienced significant trauma or injury from an accident.
- Impacted wisdom teeth or severe crowding.

Changing The Stigma
We know that a lot of people feel that going to the dentist is scary, and needing a procedure like a tooth extraction definitely doesn’t make the anxiety feel less. Dr. Robinson is proud to have created a safe space for patients who dread the dental chair. We’ll never make you feel guilty or judged, we're just here to help you in any way we can - from the dental chair to your paperwork.

What Happens After Extraction?
A healthy smile is a complete smile, and just because you may need to have a tooth retracted doesn’t mean you need to accept an incomplete smile. After your extraction, Dr. Robinson will discuss the best options for replacing your tooth so you can get your smile back to full functionality. Thanks to his extensive training in implants, Dr. Robinson will easily create a long-term plan for you so you get a solution that feels and functions just like your natural tooth.
